In the second quarter of 2022, the top food delivery services in Hungary showed varied trends in downloads and active users. According to Sensor Tower data, the following insights were observed:

foodora HU: Food & Groceries experienced significant fluctuations in weekly downloads. Starting strong with 9.7K downloads in late March, the app peaked at 13.5K in early April but declined steadily to around 6.6K by the end of June. Weekly active users also saw slight variations, beginning at 105K and remaining relatively stable around 99K by quarter's end.

Wolt Delivery: Food and more had a similar pattern in downloads, starting with 6.3K in late March and reaching a peak of 10.5K in early April. However, downloads decreased to approximately 4.7K by the end of June. Active user numbers fluctuated but showed an overall decline from 71K to around 60K.

Kifli.hu maintained a more consistent download rate, ranging between 700 and 1.1K downloads per week. This steadiness indicates a loyal user base with minor fluctuations throughout the quarter.

Bolt Food had modest weekly downloads, peaking at 778 in early April and averaging around 650 in the subsequent weeks. Active users remained stable, hovering around the 10K mark throughout the quarter.

The Wolt Courier Partner app saw weekly downloads starting at 683 and peaking at 872 in early April, with a slight drop to 581 by the end of June. Active users started at 14.3K, increased to 16K mid-June, and slightly decreased to 15.8K by the end of the quarter.
